New Textures are out...

Posted by Suztv on Monday, April 14, 2008 , under | comments (0)

For every designer or content creator out there, there is the eternal hunt for new and exciting patterns and textures that they can use. Most of the time we run up against a wall with textures that have already been used since 1950 and well, frankly look a little stale. Or there are some patterns out there but they just don't work for clothing.

I have started to create some of my own textures and I decided to sell them. 4 different packs - watermelon, cherry, heart and mushroom. The juicy fun and very summerlike watermelon pack is only $L800 (there are 10 seamless tiling patterns), and the other 3 are just $L500 - they all have 8. All of these patterns tile seamlessly.

While these are really great for clothing, I can imagine wallpaper or some unique prim builds with them. These images were drawn entirely by me - so there is no question about usage rights or royalties etc..

These textures have full perms so you can use and reuse - but they are not intended for resale or redistribution.

RED STICK HUNT - SWA Zippered Jean Set

Posted by Suztv on Saturday, April 12, 2008 , under | comments (0)

SWA is participating in the Red Stick hunt!

Please come by and look everywhere for the stick - I've hidden it at the store, so look around really really hard. Of course ignore the red wallpaper - lol, I have made it just a little more challenging than normal...

Inside the red stick you will find a PURPLE ZIPPERED JEAN SET - which will have purple zippered jeans (with sculpties), a jean jacket and two crossback halters. Copy/Modify ONLY.

(I would put a picture here - but SL keeps crashing on me!) Someone - please send me a pic of you in this outfit and I'll post it here!

My SLX boxes - updated

Posted by Suztv on Saturday, April 5, 2008 , under | comments (0)

I think that the problem between SLX and my inventory has been solved - one of my inventory boxes was returning an invalid script which was in-turn causing server errors. I have updated all of my boxes to the most current version for SLX and everything should be working. If you tried to purchase the Siren Sundress through SLX and were unsuccessful - please try again. I am running a special promotion and on SLX the Dress is only L$250 instead of L$350 - this is a DEAL.

Also the free hats and gloves are on SLX as well. Siren SunHat and Gloves

SecondLife® transaction issues and dealing with problems...

Posted by Suztv on Friday, April 4, 2008 , under | comments (2)

I would like to say that as a merchant in SecondLife® I pride myself on customer service and try to help solve any issues that SecondLife® has caused a customer. Today I have had several transactions go stale and the item not being received via SLExchange. One customer even threatened to file an abuse report even though on my end I did not receive the funds and other than refund her money that I DIDN'T receive or resend the item that I didn't receive funds for - there isn't much that I can do.

If this situation arises, as a customer - please take into consideration that SecondLife® is going through some issues with the new update and transactions are prone to "flakeyness." I will continue to offer customer support and help in whatever way possible but it is always best that when dealing with a webservice like SLExchange and OnRez that you file a ticket first and then if the item is not delivered or money not refunded after 24 hours, contact the seller. I don't own their servers, I do not have "special" rights that enable me to complete transactions on their servers, I can only file a ticket and hope that it comes out right. I have delivered 5 outfits in-world after getting terse IMs from irate customer from SLX - I did not receive funds for those outfits either in-world or through SLX so I have basically been jilted by the webservice, I cannot blame the customers and I do not make it a habit of sending items I didn't receive payment for - but I understand why they're upset. I am considering putting my items on-hold on SLExchange until their servers or communication with SecondLife improves. I will post again here to let you know if that happens.

Also - when sending a request to a merchant, your tone and manner in which you present your case can make all the difference. If you are angry at SL, OnRez or SLX, do not take it out on me - I am not the one in charge of their website and I am certainly not in charge of SecondLife®. If you are terse and belligerent it really doesn't help in my dealings with you, a succinct notecard with the transaction details (when, how much and what you bought) is all I need, not "I am filing an abuse report with SL because my transaction didn't go through and it's your fault!".

I would also like to request that your patience in this matter is of the utmost importance and it will be rewarded. Ask anyone who has dealt with me and you will find that I am very kind to those who are kind to me.

I appreciate my customers - each and every one of you, if it weren't for you I wouldn't be such a success. I am willing to help, but please afford me the kindness and consideration that you would want from me - we are all humans behind those avatars and being mean - well it hurts my feelings.

'Nuff said.

Siren Sundres Mon Cherie

Posted by Suztv on Thursday, April 3, 2008 , under | comments (1)

My daughter saw the Siren Sundress, and asked - no insisted, that I create a cherry pattern version. Well, I did. But I did more than just one dress. I have created the "Mon Cherie Red" on black and on white, and the "Mon Cherie Pink" on black and on white. So you get TWO lovely dresses in each pack. Each pack comes with 4 different hats, 4 gloves and 4 sweaters - all for only $L600.

The "Mon Cherie Pink" is available via the Relay for Life Kiosk and after the Relay for life - it will not be available again, so if you like pink - then you should go and get this dress now.

I have put these lovelies in both of my stores here:

Down, down, down we go...

Posted by Suztv on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 , under | comments (2)

SecondLife™ has had some major issues the past few days... It's funny that after they announce the whole new trademark and branding policy their internal database administration policy is what looks like needs the revamp. If I were running a business like SecondLife™ I would sure as hell make sure it is running like clockwork before letting lose the "trademark" and "copyright" for LindenLabs™ marketing campaign. I mean what is a brand worth if all it really means is that they are continually down, they don't respond to content theft, and they constantly have issues of varying degrees with their software/platform.

Yes, join SecondLife™ and experience computer and software issues similar to what you would find with Vista™. You can create content, but never access it. Dream your world but never build it.

Anybody wish Apple would take them over??? Jeesh!

Don't forget your hat...

Yes - and now you have no reason to. I have put out a plethora of free hats and gloves for you. Please come by and pick them up as I will be taking them away come Saturday - but never fear, there will be new arrivals by then. Enjoy!
